MPPC AGM

Muscliff Petanque held it’s AGM last evening.
Stuart Brown was presented with the Club’s Melee Trophy, with 16 game
wins one ahead of Ray Stanton; Gilles Martin was third.
There have been some changes on the committee. Ian Huntley stood down
as Vice President, Pat Roberts as Secretary and Mick Roberts as Club
Captain. All have done sterling service to the club and they were
fulsomely thanked by President Perry with raucous applause from the 38
gathered members.
Graham Hood stepped up to become our new Vice President, Peter Aldersey
is our Secretary and Keith Summers our new Club Captain. We wish them
all well and are grateful for their input. A Club is only as strong as
it’s membership – that is why we thrive.
