Another fine day midst rain and wind saw Paula Fauval set a record score for our three round Monthly Melee, winning all three games (two by 13-0!!) with a plus score of 34 (beating previous record of 32 by Ray Stanton at last February melee). Paula passed the drug test though there was a significant amount of caffeine shown!
28 competitors played in lovely mild conditions with Paula winning, Keith Summers was runner up (3 wins plus 26) and Debra Harman in 3rd (3 wins plus 17).
Thanks all the helpers, especially Steve White who attended really early and forked the “swimming pool end” to assist with drainage.
