24 souls attended the May Melee on a cloudy , overcast day (when (!) the sun shone it was quite hot – but not for long!). The result was: winner David Shires with 3 wins and plus 26, 2nd Trevor Harman 3 plus 20, 3rd Brian Morrow 3 plus 18 and 4th Stuart Critchell 3 plus 16.
